in cold, damp weather at Evansville's Four Freedoms monument to
protest Vectren's plans for new coal fired power plants. They
were also promoting alternative energy sources and clean air.

Worldwide Drum Wave drew a variety of participants to Wesselmans
Park in Evansville, Indiana Sunday night. The local event, organized
by Doug Luzar and Jack Schenk, was part of a world wide drum playing,
noise making for peace that occurred from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in
all times zones around the world for a 24 hour period. |
